Cancer Vaccine and Biological Dentistry

In all of my Internet research on successful alternative treatments, I found out about the VG-1000 cancer vaccine. This vaccine was developed by Valentin Govallo, a Russian physician and immunologist who was the first scientist to reason that malignant cells survive and proliferate because they possess their own defense systems which protect them from attack by the immune system of the host (the patient), a thesis now well established. After more than twenty years of work with cancer patients he discovered and refined a therapy, now known as VG-1000, which undermines the cancer cells defense mechanisms. Thus the world's first therapeutic vaccine for cancer was born. His book 'Immunology of Pregnancy and Cancer', published in the US in 1993 describes it. Despite the $10,000 price tag, I knew that this was a therapy that I wanted since more than 60% of the patients that had received the vaccine had survived for 10 years or longer. This therapy was not offered in the United States; the closest locations for delivery of this vaccine were the Bahamas, Mexico or Canada. Luckily, I found a doctor in Toronto (a two-hour drive from my home) who administered the vaccine. There were two injections of the vaccine given one week apart from each other. The third was given several weeks after that. I was given exact directions to the doctor’s office and told to bring a cashier’s check for $10,000. When reaching the border to go into Canada, I made the very stupid mistake of telling the border agent that I was entering Canada to receive cancer treatment. This was a really dumb thing to day since in Canada, patients often wait very lengthy amounts of time to receive treatment for cancer and other ailments. Who was I to think I was going to march into their country and receive treatment that day? So I was called into their office and interrogated by an agent. I don’t remember exactly what I said, but evidently they bought it because I was released to go on my way after about 30 minutes. Lesson learned. For the next vaccine injection and every other trip to Canada, I simply told the border agents I was going shopping. Problem solved. Upon finally arriving at the doctor’s office, I realized I was entering a private home. I was also surprised to find someone cooking breakfast in the kitchen that was practically a part of the waiting room. Very bizarre. After some time, I was ushered into the doctor’s office and was given my injection, as well as a forceful sales pitch for other very expensive cancer remedies. I politely declined, gave him the cashier’s check and left. For all I know, the injections he gave me could have been water, but I chose to believe they were the real deal and felt secure that I had protected myself against the cancer’s recurrence. Naive of me? No doubt.

Numerous books and articles informed me that the teeth play an enormous role in our immunity and the development of cancer. The mercury in dental fillings is a potent neurotoxin and contributes to a weakening of the immune system. It has been strongly advised by many alternative health doctors to have your mercury fillings safely removed and replaced with a compatible composite material. There was no dentist that I was aware of at that time in my vicinity who was safely removing mercury fillings. So, once again, I turned to Canada and found a dentist in a suburb of Toronto who was willing to remove my mercury fillings while following the proper protocol. This involved trips to Toronto every other week because only one quadrant of my mouth could be worked on at one time. Each appointment involved using a dental dam and inhaled oxygen to prevent the reabsorption of mercury into my system. I was tested for biocompatible dental materials before anything new was placed into my teeth. Root canals are also considered to be extremely detrimental to our health according to holistic dentistry. This is because a root canal is basically supporting a dead tooth. Below this dead tooth are hundreds of miles of tubules that can never be completely cleaned out and sterilized. The bacteria left behind in these tubules become extremely virulent as they are trapped inside and can cause disease throughout the body. It is also believed in holistic dentistry that each tooth sits on an energy meridian that corresponds to a particular organ in the body. I happened to have a festering root canal that sat on the energy meridian that governs the breast. In fact, this particular dead tooth was located right above the cancerous tumor in my left breast!!! I chose to have this dead tooth removed according to the proper protocol which involved pulling the tooth and cutting the periodontal ligament so no bacteria would be left behind. Again, none of this dental work was covered by insurance, but because of the exchange rate, I paid considerably less for this dental work than if I had comparable work done in the States.

I returned to the Schachter Center for several days for follow-up testing. Dr. Schachter sent me to a lab a short distance away in New Jersey to have blood drawn to have the AMAS test done (it’s not permitted in New York State). AMAS stands for Anti-Malignin Antibody in Serum. All cancers make anti-malignin antibody. Because we are making cancer cells all of the time, anti-malignin antibodies are present at low levels in everyone. Normally, a healthy immune system (one with activated macrophages) is destroying these cancer cells as they are formed. An AMAS level that rises beyond the baseline of 135, however, tells us that the immune system is not getting rid of those new cancer cells in a timely way, and their numbers are therefore increasing. AMAS is both a cancer screening test and a cancer monitoring test. In other words, you can use it to determine whether cancer is present, and you can use it to track therapy. I would need to wait several weeks to learn the results. I felt confident that I was free from the cancer, but those weeks of waiting for the results seemed like an anxiety-filled eternity! I finally got the results back after returning home . . . . AND IT WAS NEGATIVE FOR CANCER!!!! That was the best Christmas present I could have received in 1998!!! Or any year, for that matter. I continued to use the AMAS test over the next four years for cancer screening. I had to drive just over the New York State border to Erie, Pennsylvania to a lab that would do the test since it can’t be done in New York State due to licensing regulations. The results fluctuated and it seemed I could influence the results depending upon the emotional state I was in on the day I would have the test done. The times I had the test done when I was fearful and depressed, I got an elevated result. When I was confident and happy, I got a normal result. I eventually quit doing the test in 2002 and have since learned that it’s not deemed to be all that reliable by some sources.

I feel compelled to make it known that during the entire course of my alternative treatments I looked and felt perfectly healthy and normal. I never felt sick, never lost weight, never vomited, and never lost my hair. In fact, I felt better than I had in a very, very long time. This was so important to me because I wanted to maintain as normal a life as possible, not only for myself, but to comfort and reassure my loved ones that all was well with me. Subconsciously, perhaps I also wanted to prove by my appearance that “See? I DID make the right treatment decisions!”
