Low-dose Naltrexone, Christmas Rose Botanical and Healing Hypnosis CD

July 2019

I wish I could tell you that I’m having more good days than bad, but that’s just not the case at this point. I’m still dealing with a number of issues most days: Fibromyalgia-like pain in my back and chest, headaches, nausea and loss of appetite. I wish I knew what was causing all of these issues. Is it the cancer, Lyme Disease, detoxification or just the side effects of one or more of the different remedies I am taking? It’s very difficult to sort it all out. The loss of appetite did disappear when I was on my mandatory 5-day break from the pancreatic enzymes. Then I had massive cravings for all kinds of food that I’m not allowed to have on this protocol: big, juicy cheeseburgers, lasagna and Thanksgiving dinner with all of the trimmings. Perhaps it’s best that I don’t have much of an appetite during the other 25 days of the month so that I’m not tempted to have forbidden foods. Yeah, right.

I have started taking 4.5 mg of Low-Dose Naltrexone (LDN) every other night before bed. Naltrexone at higher doses (around 50 mg) is used to wean addicts off of drugs. LDN in doses from 3-4.5 mg is used to control cancer, as well as autoimmune issues. The only widely-reported side effects of LDN are vivid dreams and insomnia when first starting on the drug. On only one evening did I experience anything close to a vivid dream: it was of a huge spider that instantly woke me up and I was thankfully able to fall back asleep right after that. I am only taking LDN every other evening since I am a slow metabolizer and it seems I am not able to clear out the receptors for LDN in 24 hours. This makes LDN build up in my system and in the past this has caused issues with depression for me. The every-other-day dosing of LDN seems to not be causing any problems for me at this point. If I get a bit courageous, I may try once again to take it every night to see what happens. Perhaps as my body adjusts to it and/or builds up a tolerance to it, I may be able to take it every evening without any issues. The use of LDN for cancer and autoimmune diseases was discovered by Dr. Bihari. There are a number of websites devoted to LDN if you wish to investigate this drug further. You can start here: lowdosenaltrexone.org.

My naturopath has also prescribed Christmas Rose botanical for me. This is self-injected three times a week and is reported to be excellent for fibromyalgia pain. I haven’t received it yet, but will let you know of my progress with it in a future post. I am still injecting myself with Mistletoe (Viscum Mali) every other evening to slow or reverse the cancer. I started out at a very low dose of 5 ml and am now up to 100 ml on my way to a goal of 200 ml every other day. Doctors in Germany and India have reported amazing success with Mistletoe for their Stage 4 and terminal cancer patients.

The Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) from the local medical marijuana dispensary has been a Godsend for me for sleep. I take 25 drops (approx. 25 mg) every night before bed along with 20 drops of liquid melatonin and I am out like a light for a good 5 hours. And I am talking about a very deep, dreamless sleep! I still use a vape pen for high CBD/low THC marijuana about 5-8 times during the day, but I’m not sure I’m feeling much of anything from that in terms of pain relief. But I am hoping that inhaling the marijuana into my lungs will bring about shrinkage of the tumors. I will say that a terrific CBD oil from Rooted Apothecary does wonders for anxiety and I highly recommend it (and it’s perfectly legal—-no prescription necessary).

I’ve recently started using an Anti-Cancer Hypnosis CD to program my subconscious mind for accelerated healing. I really enjoy the wording on this CD; it’s extremely relaxing. The CD never mentions the word cancer, but instead focuses on being healed and in perfect health. I play the CD in the late morning (takes about one hour) and then again I play it as I’m going to sleep. This is when I am most relaxed and I know that my conscious mind will not fight the suggestions on the CD, instead allowing the healthy affirmations to sink into my subconscious mind.
