My Personal Opinion on IPT

A side note here with my personal opinion: It was now all too painfully clear to me that the eight very stressful weeks that I spent in Arizona and the $45,000+ I spent on treatment, lodging and transportation there were all for absolutely NOTHING! Not only did I not reverse the cancer in my body or even slow it down for an extended period of time, the cancer returned . . . . with a vengeance! If I were considering going to an integrative cancer clinic for Insulin Potentiated Therapy (IPT), I would need to understand that this therapy does not eradicate the cancer from the body. It is something used to “manage the cancer”, much like someone manages diabetes. It will be a lifelong, on-and-off therapy that will be required throughout the rest of one’s life. So unless you have very deep pockets, a large trust fund or very wealthy and generous friends and family, it might be better to skip this treatment entirely if you are not financially prepared to see it through for the rest of your life. Worse, if you stop treatment prematurely (as I did, due to lack of funds), the chemo will make the cancer stem cells more aggressive and cause the cancer to return much more forcefully. Again, I’m not a doctor and I can only share my experience and give you my opinion drawn from my own conclusions.
