Products That I've Found Useful

Below are some supplements, as well as inspiring books that have proven to be very helpful to me on my healing path. They may assist your journey and/or provide inspiration to you as well.

Curcumin is listed on on just about every “must have” cancer supplement list and for good reason. It is reported to stop or slow cancer growth. The brand that I have found especially potent is Progressive Laboratories Curcumin BCM-95. I love just about any product by Pure Encapsulations because they are of the highest quality and have no fillers or unnecessary additives. Pure Encapsulations Ultra B Complex with PQQ is wonderful for maintaining the health of my nervous system and keeping my mood uplifted. Paul Stamets’ mushroom combinations have an excellent reputation for fighting off cancer and keeping the immune system strong. I love his Host Defense My Community 17-mushroom blendfor my own cancer journey. Ginger has wonderful properties for warding off the development of cancer cells. My favorite brand is Pure Synergy’s Organic Super Pure Ginger Extract. Pure Encapsulations Green Tea Extract is an essential daily part of my supplement regimen due to green tea’s cancer fighting properties. It is said that cancer cannot live in an alkaline environment. To boost the alkalinity in my body, I’m using Pleo Alkala Powder on a daily basis. I also use Pectasol-C capsules between meals to help prevent the cancer from further spreading in my body. Pectasol-C is modified citrus pectin which is very helpful in preventing cancer from metastasizing. Candida yeast is very often found in cancer patients and can disrupt the microbiome, which is so essential in restoring our health. To kill off excessive candida yeast in my body I alternate on a monthly basis between using Gaia Oil of Oregano and Health thru Nutrition’s Caprylic Acid. Full-fat coconut milk is a major staple in my diet. I use it in smoothies and soups to add a rich creaminess, while the anti-viral properties of coconut milk help to boost my immune system. Native Forest is the brand that I really enjoy and I appreciate that it comes in a BPA-free can. Wild-caught salmon is another large part of my diet. I use it as a wonderful source of protein and for it’s valuable Omega-3 fatty acids. I brand I really enjoy and trust is Wild Planet’s Wild Sockeye Salmon. Mix the salmon with some Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil Mayonnaise and you have a wonderful meal! I also rely heavily on Naked Crunchy Organic Stoneground Sprouted Almond Butter. It’s wonderful in smoothies! I also like to mix it with Navitas Organic Cacao Powder and Xyla all natural sugar-free sweetener (xylitol) when I want to satisfy my sweet tooth without raising my blood sugar.

I’ve also been using Nutricology’s Artemisinin along with EZ Melts Plant-based Iron because of artemisinin’s negative effect on cancer, as well as it’s pathogen-killing abilities. It is claimed that when iron is taken with artemisinin, the iron acts as a trojan horse to usher the artemisinin into cancer cells since cancer likes iron. My naturopath has also started me on Lauricidin, which is a potent monolaurin supplement derived from coconut oil and has strong anti-viral properties. It comes highly recommended by patients with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Lyme Disease, and Herpes for symptomatic relief. I have also been taking Horbaach’s Berberine to help reduce my blood sugar to a healthy level. Some claim that it is as effective as Metformin in reducing blood sugar, but I cannot verify that. I’ve recently added Nordic Naturals ProOmega CoQ10 to my list of supplements. It very nicely combines EPA and DHA omega-3 oils, along with CoQ10. This formula supports heart and immune health, promotes brain and neurological health and supports cellular energy production. I like using Pure Encapsulations Alpha Lipoic Acid because of the many reported benefits of ALA: lowers blood sugar levels, reduces inflammation, improves nerve function and helps prevents cell damage. Since the liver needs to filter so many toxins, I like to support my liver as much as I can. One of the products I use to accomplish that is Gaia Herbs Milk Thistle Seed. Another product that has helped me a great deal is Nutricost’s Lysine (500 capsules for a very low price!). Lysine boasts a number of benefits: Negatively impacts the herpes virus by blocking arginine, increases calcium absorption, improves gut health, reduces BP and promotes wound healing by helping to create collagen. Speaking of gut health, another supplement I’ve come to rely on is Enzymedica Digest Gold with ATPro. I use it with every meal to ensure that my meal digests properly and it has never let me down. Since all cancer patients need plenty of Vitamin D3, I use Bronson Vitamin K2 + D3 (360 capsules at a very low price!). The Vitamin K2 works synergistically with Vitamin D to make sure that calcium is deposited in the proper places in your body (in your bones rather than your veins and arteries). Pure Encapsulations makes a great multi-vitamin/mineral formula that I feel covers all of my bases in case I might have missed an essential ingredient that my body requires . It leaves out the copper and iron which has been known to feed cancer cells.

When I’m looking for a quick meal to throw together, I love to use these NUCO Coconut wraps. I simply saute some shiitake mushrooms, onions and any other veggies I might want in a little ghee and it makes a delicious meal in a low-carb, healthy wrap!

When doing your juicing, I’ve been using the Greenstar for 20+ years. While it is on the more expensive side, the greatest feature for me is that thanks to its masticating blades, I can store the juice in little 8-ounce Mason jars for up to 3 days without it spoiling (saving me from having to juice every day!).

I would be remiss if I didn’t let you know about some books that have been extremely informative and/or uplifting as I’ve gone down this path. If you’re thinking about doing the Kelley Pancreatic Enzyme Protocol or simply want to learn about the many benefits of near-infrared sauna therapy, I strongly suggest that you purchase a copy of Sauna Therapy for Detoxification and Healing by Dr. Lawrence Wilson. This book outlines some incredible benefits and gives some amazing healing testimonials at the beginning of each chapter. It will also instruct you on making your own near-infrared sauna very economically, if you’re mechanically inclined.

I can’t recommend highly enough Rodney and Paige Stamps book 90 Days to Live. It’s the book I credit for starting me on the Kelley Pancreatic Enzyme Protocol. You get both Rodney and Paige’s individual takes on each stage of their journey. I found the book riveting and couldn’t put it down. I’m pretty sure I finished it in one afternoon. It will give you a good overall view of what is entailed in the Kelley protocol and the discipline required to pull it off.

Some other excellent books that I recommend to lift your spirits and train your mind to help you heal yourself:
